The Moon & our Conscious Mind

The Moon is tidally locked to the earth.

She retains moisture in our Atmosphere & Without her, the Sun’s heat would likely burn up our Earth’s life right up. Not only is She the most captivating beauty in our Night Sky, She nourishes and protects our planet, earth. You, know, the one we are all spinning around on?

Can’t you just feel Her gravity as she pulls the waves towards Her

& then lets them go?

Do you ever just stop to breathe in Her rays?…

When she shows up mysteriously at dusk with a new face.

The Moon’s rhythm is that Great Feminine rhythm

She is the Yin Chi

She flows through the Ida Nadi,
the feminine channel along the left length of the spine

Her gravity tugs at our inner waters;
the changing tides of our Feelings.

She journeys around our earth, to a trance-like beat

A new Mood, a new Night;

Each eve she visits a new star constellation that colours Her Backdrop

Like entering a room in a large house and turning on a light;

That portion gets lit & activated;

within the Sea of our Consciousness,

Bringing a new pattern of waves to the surface of our mind.

There is nothing without that is not also within;

So I suppose learning to focus the mind & meditate is like learning to surf

& Going through this vast array of tragic loss & sheer excitement,

Is us just visiting all corners of this great cosmic ocean,

To know Thyself.

Vedic astrology is a profound tool for self study, to understand our mind’s unique design.

The moon’s position at the time of our birth ignites a series of life cycles that brings upon the ripening of life events as well as vast shifts in our focus that compel us in certain directions, opening some doors and closing others.

Understanding the divine timing or the universal rhythm and how that intersects with our unique birth chart can give us great perspective and help us accept where we are at NOW.
